#RHOBH S06E01 “Life’s A Pitch” Recap

It’s that time of year again! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are back and, it appears, better than ever! This season seems to be promising with lots of glamour, rumors of many rifts between the cast, changing alliances and the questioning of how sick Yolanda is. Unfortunately, we’re starting off this season with Yolanda and David announcing that they are divorcing.

Before I recap the episode, let’s start with their taglines.

I’ll admit, I like Lisa Rinna but after her dark tweets about Kim Richards last season, I’m very weary of her. Her tagline is superb but I feel like there’s a word missing from it… “shit.” I guess it’s pretty obvious where that word goes.

Not the most original but I don’t hate it.

First of all, she’s drop dead gorgeous. Second of all, nice tagline.

This is one of my two favorites of the taglines. Guess who’s the other. PS: Eileen is slaying in this dress! YAAAASSSS!!!!!

Yolanda looks beautiful, as usual. I guess her tagline is pretty indicative of what’s in store for her and us in the upcoming season.

And finally, the Queen. Lisa Vanderpump does it again! Another iconic tagline. She slays in her dress and she slays with her wit. YAAAASSSS!!!!

We start off with Pinky. She’s been asked to throw the first pitch at the dodgers game due to her support of the LGBT community. She and Rocio are waiting to see the trainer that will teach her how to throw the ball. It’s AJ Ellis. He’s a total hunk.

They’re in Lisa’s back yard, practicing. Ken tells Lisa to imagine that it’s Brandi that she’s throwing it to. Lisa says that she hasn’t seen or heard from Brandi since the reunion (because she’s been fired) and basically Brandi isn’t a part of her world anymore. Hallelujah!

Personally, I’m glad that Brandi’s gone. With that being said, let’s not give her anymore attention than she deserves, shall we?

Next up is Rin Tin Tin. She’s doing a special on Oprah’s Where Are They Now? She says that this is good because that means she had to be somewhere before. She doesn’t know where she is though. Kyle says she’s in an Amsterdam jail, LVP says she’s in a hot mess (true), Eileen says she’s hustling and Yolanda doesn’t know where Rinna is.

One thing’s for sure though, she’s like a cockroach so she’s not going anywhere. Rinna says that being on Days Of Our Lives was the longest she’s ever worked and she hasn’t had a long stable acting job (meaning a tv show) after that. So the fact that Eileen has been acting on soaps for over 30 years is, as Lisa puts it, rare. Speaking of Eileen, it’s time to check in.

Hey, girl, hey! Eileen says people have been asking her when she’ll retire from acting but I think she still has many years of her career ahead of her. Being on soaps, the storylines are always evolving and changing which keeps things fresh.

Her storyline this time is complicated business stuff and a love triangle involving her character, her character’s daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend. Yes, my mom loves Eileen.

Back to Rinna, she’s doing the interview with the producers from Oprah’s Where Are They Now? That’s about it. There wasn’t anything noteworthy from it… in my opinion.

Next up is Kyle. She’s at her store and apparently buying a pair of sunglasses worth $75,000. Wow. That kind of makes Dana look cheap. <Did you know? $25,000> Classic.

Pinky Vanderpump calls to confirm lunch with Kyle. Since they’re so close, Kyle walks on over. Kyle asks Pinky if she’s heard from Yolanda and Pinky says barely. She’s sent her texts but it seems Yolanda hasn’t responded. It could either be A. Because they don’t like each other, B. Because Yolanda is too sick and busy or C. All of the above. I’d go with C.

Pinky then asks Kyle how things are with her and Kyle says that she’s inked a deal with Warner Bros. to do a scripted show about her life growing up in the 70’s. Kyle is excited about it but she says both of her sisters haven’t wished her well or congratulated her on it. They’re worried about how they’ll be portrayed in the show basically.

Kyle feels that being the youngest out of 3 sisters, she still gets treated as the baby and sometimes the older ones might not think she’s capable of making her own decisions. But she’s a grown woman with 4 kids and she will make her own decisions. Okay, girl. Two snaps for you.

Time to check in with Yolanda. She’s living in David’s condo in Beverly Hills while she undergoes more treatments for her Lyme Disease. She looks defeated.

Her friend, Angie Simpson, pays her a visit. Sidenote: Angie was supposed to be a housewife this season but she had to stop filming because she couldn’t get a working visa. Hopefully she can get that resolved and try again next season. She seems lovely. #HelpHerWithHerVisaThing as @RHousewives101 said. Let’s get this trending.

Yolanda says that since her Lymes Disease diagnosis she’s felt totally useless, weak and hasn’t been able to drive her car for 3 years. Now, I don’t doubt Yolanda is sick, and sometimes I wonder if she’s exaggerating because of statements like this. I won’t be bashing her but I will point out some inconsistencies. I have to keep it real. So Yolanda says she hasn’t driven a car in 3 years but just last season we saw her driving from Malibu to Beverly Hills for the scavenger hunt. I wish she wouldn’t exaggerate because just one inconsistency can give everyone reason to doubt you.

She also says that if it weren’t for her kids she would have thrown herself off the balcony a long time ago. When she said that, my heart dropped. That’s truly heartbreaking.

Lisa Rinna calls her to invite her to her birthday dinner but Yolanda isn’t sure that she’s up to it, especially since David will be in Seattle. She says David has always been busy and travelling since the day they met and that shouldn’t change because she’s sick. I think it should have changed at least a little bit. That’s his wife.

It’s time for Pinky to throw the first pitch. She’s nervous and I would be too. The amount of people she’s performing in front of? A lot. Of course, Ken and Pandora are there to support her.

She throws the ball and it’s not as bad as she thought. “It could’ve been a fucking disaster, let’s be honest,” she says.

Back to Rinna. She’s taking her daughters shopping. She’s talking about how important it is to keep your kids humble and how hard it is to want to buy them everything they want but to also teach them the value of things. Her daughters are beautiful.

Eileen is doing some redecorating in her home. She doesn’t want to credit Brandi’s comments as her reasons for change but it did help her look at her house through another pair of eyes. “Hey, thanks… bitch,” Eileen says to Brandi. I love this woman.

Lisa Rinna calls her to offer her condolences about her father-in-law’s passing and to invite her to her birthday dinner. By the way Eileen is talking about him, it’s evident that they were pretty close. That was a nice tribute to him.

It’s time for Rinna’s birthday dinner. She picks up Kyle and they’re the first to arrive to the restaurant. Yolanda and Angie are the next to arrive. Kyle points out that Yolanda isn’t wearing any makeup and it’s shocking because she hasn’t seen Yolanda out in Beverly Hills without makeup.

Pinky Vanderpump and Ken arrive next. Ken tells Yolanda that she looks good but says in his confessional that she looks terrible. I’ll admit, when I first saw this I didn’t think it was nice. But after watching it again, I realized that when he said she looked terrible, he meant ill, and not trying to be mean about it. At least, that’s my interpretation of it.

Pinky is also pointing out that Yolanda isn’t wearing makeup and that she’s clearly not well.

Yolanda suddenly feels tired and feels that she has to go so she leaves. On the way home she says she feels happy that she went. I’m happy she went too but wasn’t really feeling some of the reactions her attendance created.

Harry Hamlin finally arrives and gives Rinna a beautiful pair of earrings. To say thank you she admits that he’s number 16 on her speed dial. #FixItGirr.

Mauricio comes home and Kyle talks to him about Kim. She says a part of her wants to reach out and the other part wants to show her tough love. I’ll be honest, I haven’t always been a fan of Kyle’s, but I really enjoyed her last season. With that being said, I don’t want her to keep using Kim as a storyline on the show. But then again, the show is about what’s happening in their lives and Kim is indeed a big part of Kyle’s life, so I don’t know. I still don’t like it, but I get it.

Kyle says she doesn’t know if their relationship will ever change for the better even if Kim does change for the better. I know it’s not my family, but here’s my input: I think they both need to accept the fact that they both have a ton of resentment towards each other and it probably will never go away. They are sisters but their relationship is toxic. For the sake of the children, I think they should take Pinky’s advice and kind of detach themselves emotionally from one another. I’m not saying they should detach completely, but just enough so that they can’t hurt each other anymore.

I think they should keep their relationship more lighthearted and if they feel like somebody is saying or doing something that is going to piss them off, then detach. It sounds like sweeping things under the rug but it’s not and it’s either that or years of family therapy which none of them seem to be willing to do.

Important to note that it seems that Kyle and Kim are in a much better place now. That makes me happy. I wish them a world of luck with that. On the road to recovery!

Happy Birthday Lisa Vanderpump!

It’s been a while since I’ve written any blogs and I have great news! …They’re coming back! I’m happy that my first blog coming back is to wish the queen of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump, a very happy birthday!

To show my love and appreciation for her, I’ll be listing some of the many qualities about her that make her so lovable.

1. She’s a huge animal lover.

We all know that Lisa is not complete without her baby, Giggy, by her side. However, her love is not limited to just dogs. She’s a huge advocate for animal rights. She’s currently organizing a march on October 4th to spread awareness of the barbaric and heinous event known as the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. It’s an annual festival in China where dogs are kidnapped from loving homes, or picked up on the street and are tortured: boiled and skinned alive. 2. She’s madly in love with her husband.

In a world where divorce is more common than the flu, Ken and Lisa are still crazy about each other after 32 years of marriage. This is truly a rare and precious thing in this day and age.

3. Once she’s your friend, there’s no other person you’ll find who is more loyal than her.

From the moment she graced our screens, it’s been evident that Lisa goes all out for her friends. She’s always there to provide a shoulder to cry on, she helps you with your problems, she’ll defend you and she treats you like family.

4. She has the greatest sense of humor.

Her sense of humor is incredibly dry and British. Not many understand her sense of humor, but if you really know her, then you know she means no harm in what she says. Her sense of humor has gotten her into trouble with her co-stars in the past, but hey, they’re no innocents.

5. She’s a straight shooter.

Lisa’s not afraid to say what’s on her mind, and even less afraid to tell you to your face. Some people don’t like her for it, and she may have even lost some friends because of it, but, it has gotten her the right friends in the end.

6. She’s fierce.

Whether she’s appearing in Lady Gaga’s music videos or whipping her staff at SUR into shape, Lisa is one fierce woman. And finally…

7. She’s simply Vanderfabulous.

Love her or hate her, at the end of the day, she’s living the life she built for herself. She is 100% self made. She left home at 18 years old with no money and has built an empire for herself. Say what you will, but this woman has it all and has worked her ass off for it.

Happy Birthday, Lisa. I hope your day is filled with love, joy, diamonds and rosé. Wishing you many more!

#RHONY S07E06 “Double Down on Delusion”

This is one of the cities of The Real Housewives franchise that I enjoy because it is not as intense as the others. The drama is arguably more lighthearted than the others. However, I do feel that eight housewives is too much. There’s not enough minutes in the hour to give all of these women a fair portrayal of who they are because, let’s be honest, Bethenny will get the most screen time given that it is now The Bethenny Show. Since, I haven’t blogged on the other episodes and we’re only at episode 6, I will give my brief opinions on each episode and the women.

Episode 1

I didn’t enjoy this episode so much, mostly because I think it was ridiculous that it was mostly about Bethenny crying about being homeless while she’s checking into luxury hotels. Also, she’s said that she’s relieved that her talk show got cancelled because it was too much pressure and she felt restrained. Really? Didn’t she say that it was always her dream to have her own talk show? Something in the buttermilk ain’t clean. With that being said, I have a pretty good idea as to why her show failed. She trashed her soon to be ex husband way too much on that show and she rarely gave her guests the opportunity to talk. She always overpowered them in the conversations and always reverted the conversations back to herself. Just saying… I thought Bethenny coming back would be good for the show but I feel like Bethenny is playing Bethenny on a show. Does that make sense? Granted, she’s always been this bitchy and cut throat, but this time around it feels more rehearsed. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Episode 2

It was only the second episode and Ramona and Bethenny had already clashed. Damn. It definitely feels like the old days…to an extent. I’ll just say that I can’t believe they were arguing over who’s coming to who’s brunch. Ugh. Rich people’s problems.

Episode 3

The battle of the brunches continued and I was over it. Is that the best these women have to offer in terms of drama? If so, spare me.

Kelly Bensimon makes an appearance in this episode and Bethenny is making a big deal out of it, though in many interviews she’s claimed to be at peace with Kelly. But I get it, she’s filming a show and on the show, they had a rivalry.

Episode 4

Bethenny throws herself a last minute birthday party and only invited some of the girls, Carole being one of them. Heather was also there. Kristen was upset that she wasn’t invited and I don’t understand why because she doesn’t know Bethenny and Bethenny has every right to invite who she wants to her birthday. Emphasis on HER BIRTHDAY. Later on Heather tries to explain to Bethenny why Kristen’s feeling was a little hurt. I love Heather for being a good friend to people. Bethenny basically shuts Heather down in the bitchiest way possible. Seriously, this chick is so rude. It’s a wonder how so many people like her so much.

Episode 5

Bethenny has lunch with Sonja to try and figure out what Sonja’s business is all about. At the end of the lunch Bethenny was left dumbfounded, much like the rest of us.

Then, Bethenny was invited to Sonja’s viewing or something like that and Bethenny was left even more dumbfounded. I feel bad for Sonja. She is sad to watch and she is clearly in a lot of pain. She does not belong on this show because she is not doing any favors for herself or for her daughter. She is not living in reality and should come back when she does.

Episode 6

The episode starts out with Kristen, Heather, Dorinda and Sonja fighting because they are supposed to go to Atlantic City and Sonja is running late and is not allowing the girls to come inside her house. Instead she tells them to wait outside in the cold while it is raining. Well that’s pretty damn rude. I get Sonja feels a certain way in regards to Heather, and that’s only because Heather has been saying the truth about Sonja, but you don’t treat people like that. Sonja needs to get out of her own way. Even Bethenny agrees that Sonja is not all the way together in the head.

An hour later the limo arrives. Bethenny arrives late and Heather is still pissed. Sonja gets in the car and immediately tells Heather that since they’re travelling together, they need to be talking to each other but all Heather wants is an apology while Sonja is trying to justify her behavior.

They continue to argue back and forth and, like Ramona…

They make a pit stop so that Bethenny can pee. Really? Do we really need to see her pee on camera again? Ramona tries to pee but she can’t because, like me, she has a very shy bladder.

They finally arrive to Atlantic City and I’m relieved for them. Heather, LuAnn and Carole are in one suite while Ramonja and Dorinda are in another and Bethenny and Kristen have their own rooms. LuAnn and Carole finally show up and Heather informs them about the incident at Sonja’s house while Sonja is farting while taking selfies with Ramona and Dorinda. Fun gals!

It’s time for dinner. Bethenny is making a skinny girl drink. Kristen forgot one of her shoes so she’s wearing two different shoes. It actually would work if she wore a different dress. It goes with the purse but not with her dress…which looks like her season 6 reunion dress. Oh and Carole is in a long black dress with bunny ears. Heather is an hour late and Bethenny calls her out on it. Oops.

Finally, they all leave for dinner. Sonja is already tipsy and I’m already biting my nails. Nothing good can come from Sonja when she drinks. She starts talking, the other wives throw their digs at her and it’s mean. At this point it’s like kicking someone while  they’re down. Just let it go, leave her be. This woman needs help and she’s in pain. Remember that. She tells Bethenny that she’s been in PR her entire life and even though Bethenny told Sonja that these girls are mean to her, she’s being mean to Sonja.

Ramona tries to remedy the situation but it’s too late. Sonja is crying. She’s tuned out and gone back to her own world. Ramona admits that it feels weird to not wear her wedding ring anymore and that she feels a little jealous when she sees other women wearing their wedding rings. I get it.

LuAnn says that Ramona is better off without him and that she’s a far more interesting person to her now that she’s single. Bethenny points out that it’s not because she’s single, it’s because she’s been going through an experience that’s very humbling– especially for somebody in the public light.

They all head out to do some gambling. Ramonja are playing blackjack together while the others are off doing their own thing. Ramona is having a lot of good luck with blackjack while Bethenny is getting nada enchalada.

It’s time to hit the dance floor. Woohoo!

Everyone seems to be having a good time. Sonja is drunk and is continuing her babbling with Bethenny.

She is also sloppy and is flashing her vagina to the cameras, while LuAnn is keeping an eye on her… lady bits.

Dorinda decides to take Sonja to bed because everybody has abandoned her at this point. Dorinda is not in the mood to socialize and Sonja keeps rambling on and on. She’s talking about how she used to party with JFK and Madonna. “Well, John John’s dead, so that’s difficult,” Dorinda reminds her.

The next day Sonja wakes up refreshed as if she wasn’t super drunk the night before. Everyone is talking about her and Bethenny decides to take Sonja aside and have a heart to heart with her. She tells her that she cannot continue on this path of living in the past. She understands that Sonja has been in pain since she’s divorced, but that was years ago and she needs to be living in the present.

Bethenny also tells her that she should not be mixing prescription pills with alcohol as it is dangerous. Sonja tells her that they are just vitamins that may react badly with alcohol. Sonja reminds me a bit of Kim Richards in the sense that I don’t feel either of them live in the real world.

At the end of the episode, it’s abundantly clear that Sonja did not hear a word of what Bethenny was saying and it is frustrating. It also goes to show that nobody can help Sonja except herself.  I do hope she gets that help sooner rather than later.

#RHOMelbourne Season 2 Finale Recap

Although I haven’t been blogging on this franchise, I have most certainly been watching and I have been thoroughly entertained. These ladies all have brass balls and they all mesh well with each other. Even when they’re fighting, they can still have a genuinely good time with each other and have a laugh.

I often compare this show to RHOBH. Gina is the fan favorite so she’s the Lisa Vanderpump of the show. Janet, is very two faced and I have a love/hate feeling for her, so she’s like the Kyle Richards of the show. Gamble is tough, has no filter and has no problem getting down and dirty with the other housewives. She is like the Brandi Glanville of the show (when Brandi was actually likable). Lydia lives a fabulous lifestyle, and though her and her husband are still together, she reminds me of (season 2) Camille Grammer where she’s just there and kind of boring. Chyka is fun, down to earth, and tries to be the voice of reason. She’s like what Adrienne Maloof tried to be on her first season of RHOBH. Jackie is full of life, she tells it like it is, and sometimes stirs up a bit of trouble. She also reminds me of a more likable Brandi Glanville. Now, what is there to say about Pettifleur? She definitely came on the show with an agenda…which they all do but hers was mentioned every second. She refers to herself and others as “bitch” tirelessly, she’s rude, and she’s beautiful. She’s like Lisa Rinna but not as likable…for me.

The episode starts off with Gamble’s dog race. Like Janet said, I was expecting a cute run in the park with the dogs but she pimped it out. It actually looked like a professional dog racing course. Bravo, Gamble. I can’t wait to see the races. I’m actually excited to see these cute pups race. And to make matters cuter, Gamble attaches little jockeys to the dogs. ADORABLE LEVEL: 9,000!

Gamble’s dog wins first place, followed by Lydia’s dog and then Janet’s dog came in third. That was fun. I want to see it again.

Next, Pettifleur is planning her 50th birthday party with Chyka. I just have to say that I think Pettifleur is drop dead gorgeous and I actually love her accent. Her theme for the party is winter wonderland. I can’t wait to see how it will look. Chyka is talking about what they will be doing to give it the wonderland look and I’m sold. Can she plan my birthday for me too?

Pettifleur doesn’t want any drama at the party. She asks Chyka if she thinks there’s a chance there won’t be any drama at her party. Darling, you’re filming a reality show. Of course there will be drama. It’s a given that any event filmed for a reality television show, there will be drama involved. It’s all about how you handle the drama though.

Lydia is throwing a dinner party in spirit of her newly renovated house. Her house is drop dead gorgeous. She has amazing taste and I want her to decorate my house for me one day. Gina and Gamble aren’t there. They’re like the outcast with this group, which is fine considering Gina is the fan favorite and Gamble is the new fan favorite because of her friendship with Gina. Word of advice, ladies, in the world of reality television– especially a show like this– you always align yourself with the fan favorite.

Back to the dinner party. The conversation turns to erectile dysfunction and I’m grossed out. If I were Janet I would be embarrassed to say I’m an expert in erectile dysfunction medication, that’s just gross. Yuck. Dessert is being brought out and the chocolate cigars look delicious. Pettifleur sucks on it as if she’s giving a blowjob and I’m done. Ugh.

While everyone is preparing Pettifleur’s house for her birthday party, she’s freaking out because she’s not seeing her vision coming to life. She’s scared that Chyka won’t deliver. Uh… you’re seeing it at its worst right now, sweety.

She’s freaking out at the event coordinator and calls Chyka to freak out at her. Chyka assures her that everything is going according to plan and to wait to see the results of their hard work.

Janet is visiting her friend Manuela. Manuela is like the Faye Resnick of this show. She desperately wants to be a part of the show but is not really well liked by the viewers. I think Manuela is a fool, a tool and looks as if she overstocked on teeth.

Manuela is upset that Gamble didn’t invite her to her bachelorette party. Um, am I missing something here? Do these two not know each other? Manuela calls Gamble dumb. I think Manuela is jealous that Gamble is a full fledged housewife and she’s stuck making guest appearances with the flip flopper. Of course I could be wrong and Manuela is just disgusting, plain and simple.

It’s time for Pettifleur’s party and she has the ladies arrive to her place on a carriage like Cinderella. Well, damn! This woman knows how to make her guests arrive in style. Pettifleur finally sees the end result and it’s gorgeous. She is blown away. Duh. Chyka obviously knows what she’s doing and she did a magnificent job on this party.

At the party, Manuela confronts Gamble– because she overheard Gamble saying she’s aggressive– in an aggressive manner. Gee, what would ever give Gamble the impression that Manuela is aggressive? Manuela then proceeds to bring up the rumors again and Gamble is pissed off. She calls Manuela a c–.

Janet steps in to yell at Gamble again for telling everyone that Janet made up the rumors. Um, didn’t Janet just say a few episodes ago that she didn’t want anything to do with these rumors again? This is why I do not like Janet half the time. She is two faced, she has no real loyalty to anyone and I think she’s the most desperate out of all of them for the fame. Those who are desperate tend to do and say anything to get the most attention. Need I say more?

Pettifluer is getting ready to dance the rumba for her guests. While she’s getting herself ready, her son gives her a sweet introduction, telling everyone how Pettifleur got her name. His grandparents danced to a song called “Pettifleur” when they met and after she was born, they named her after the song. She actually did a good job with the rumba.

Next, her son is playing the song on the piano and Pettifleur is clearly in the moment. Chyka was laughing at Pettifleurs attempt to try and snap her fingers. It was funny to see but not appropriate timing. But I laughed anyway. Ha.

Gamble asks Gina why she brought up the rumors at her bachelorette party and include her makeup artist that time. Gamble then asks Jackie what she meant when she told Gamble that Gina wanted to throw the new girls under the bus. Jackie explains herself and Gamble decides that she’s not going to throw away their friendship because of what Gina said before they knew each other.

Gina and Jackie start to get into it. Janet gets involved and sides with Jackie and attacks Gamble again and I’m just like

Gina jokingly tells Jackie that she and Gamble won’t be friends anymore and if that made her happy. Janet of course says yes. That says a lot. She doesn’t want any of these girls to be friends with Gina so that Gina feels like the outcast and quits the show so that she will be the fan favorite. At least that’s how it comes across to me. I have a newsflash for you, Janet, even if Gina did leave the show, Gamble and Jackie would still be more favored than you. Your duplicitous nature will lead to your demise on the show. Mark my words.

Gina is over this argument. She tells Jackie and Janet that their pupils are dilated and walks away. Jackie is pissed off and goes after Gina. It’s quite ugly and selfish as this is Pettifleur’s birthday. But like I said, it’s a reality show and where there are cameras, there’s drama. Gina decides to leave and Gamble leaves with her because she believes Gina has always had her back and she will have Gina’s. I love these two together.

#RHOA: A Perspective of Season 7

I’ll be honest, I stopped blogging about this show before my computer crashed. These women are vicious, angry and no longer fun to watch. They are not real friends and they genuinely do not like one another and that does not make good TV. At least for me it doesn’t. Just like RHOBH, I’ll start by giving my perspective of the Georgia peaches.

Nene Leakes- She came into the season off of her Zumanity high and as soon as she landed back in the A-T-L, her face was made up like she smelled some dog shi–. It was pretty evident this season that Nene does not like any of the girls and she clearly did not want to film with them. If that was the case, there’s a simple solution for that, darlin’: quit. I mean, you’re rich, aren’t you? Oh, wait, if she quit the show then she wouldn’t be rich anymore. Look, I respect all that Nene’s accomplished and I give her kudos for all of it, but humility goes a long way. I would say she should have a slice of humble pie but I’m pretty sure she needs the entire pie…maybe 2. I’m not saying she shouldn’t be proud of everything she’s done, but her ego is so damn big that it needs to be holding its own peach. When she returns for season 8, I hope we get the Nene from season 5. She was a joy to watch then. This one, not so much. She’s always grumpy and act like she’s better than everyone and believes that everything anybody does is to come for her. #GirlBye.

Kenya Moore- This was a very big season for Kenya. For Kenya, this was the season of vindication. For the last 2 seasons her character had been assassinated by Phaedra and the others based on lies that Apollo told on her. I won’t blame the entire fiasco on Apollo, because I have to keep it real. Kenya gave the other housewives a plethora of ammunition to use against her. It’s like Peter said at the reunion: Kenya got a bad rep from the start because of her personality. Also, in the spirit of keeping it real, I must admit, as much as I like Kenya, I do think that she studied the show before she came on it. Which is a smart thing to do because she’s definitely been a lightning rod on the show. Not to mention that ratings have increased immensely since she joined. I do enjoy Kenya and her antics on the show. After Kim and Sheree left, there’s no way Nene could carry this show on her own.

Kandi Burruss- Kandi has been my favorite since she joined. She’s always been consistent, kind, neutral and very down to earth. This season Kandi also got the bad edit this season as being the “bad friend” to the morally corrupt Phaedra Parks. Phaedra had insinuated that she hadn’t spoken to Kandi for months and that  Kandi hadn’t been there for her. I have a problem with that. Why? Although Kandi admitted that she didn’t text Phaedra every day, they never went months without talking. Kandi actually revealed, and it’s on YouTube, the timeline of all the times they’ve talked and hung out together from before the show was filmed and Apollo was sentenced, all the way to filming. They talked frequently, though not as frequent as they used to. Not to mention, Kandi was the one who gave Phaedra the heads up about Apollo spreading those chocolatey rumors. Furthermore, Kandi had problems of her own regarding her marriage, her play and one of her own relatives was going to jail around the same time as Apollo. Sure, it wasn’t her husband, but it was family nonetheless. Kandi shouldn’t take it personally though. I think Phaedra threw Kandi under the bus to deflect what was really happening in her life at the time. I won’t say what it is, but I’ll give you a hint: Angela Stanton.

Phaedra Parks- The self-proclaimed Southern Belle and Christian had it the worst this season. Her husband went to jail for fraud and her scandalous ways were put in the spotlight. I do feel sympathy for her boys because one day they will watch the show and see how their mother vilified their father. I’m not saying he’s not a piece of garbage for what he did, but still, that is something that should be kept private and if there ever was a time and reason for Phaedra to quit the show, this should have been it. But of course, a famewhore will do anything to remain relevant.

Cynthia Bailey- Cynthia was definitely the most outspoken that she’s ever been on this show. She took no nonsense from anybody and threw shade like nobody’s business. I will say, as much as I liked this side of Cynthia, she was a little bit messy in the way she did things. For example, when she called out Phaedra on her alleged affair with Mr. Chocolate, she should have left that to Kenya because she was clearly uncomfortable bringing it up. This season, her friendship with Nene deteriorated despite her efforts to make peace.

Claudia Jordan- The woman that snatched the peach right out of Porsha’s hands. I enjoyed Claudia this season. She kept it real, seems genuine and just because she’s quiet doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have the fire up inside her to get you all the way together. Bitch, she ain’t no puppet. And we all found that out. I hope she returns for season 8. She probably gave the best reads of the season. Claudia, I love ya!

NOTE: I will not be commenting Porsha because she was not a main housewife and in my opinion she does not belong on this show. Send that THOT to Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. By the way, did anybody else notice that Porsha looked like Tyra Sanchez (RuPaul’s Drag Race) at the reunion?

Reunion

At the reunion, of course there were insults being hurled left, right and center. Team Beast got read. However, the most memorable moment of the reunion was Nene’s meltdown. After Dr. Jeff joined the housewives, Nene brought up the fact that her mother didn’t raise her and her father never claimed her. She then started to shake and as Kenya was speaking to her, she started to cry and was escorted off the reunion stage with Dr. Jeff, Porsha, Phaedra and Cynthia. Gregg then revealed to Andy that Nene and her brother were sent to Atlanta while their other three siblings stayed in New York with their mom. “It bugged her all her life,” Gregg said. After her breakthrough, Nene seemed to understand that she was a big part of the negativity this season, but we’ll see if it was really a breakthrough or just bullshit. I’d like to say I’m hopeful that this means she will change her ways but I think we all know better than that. It’s a shame.

At this point, I have no idea if I’ll be watching the show next season. This cast needs some serious shaking up and by shaking up of course I mean fire, Phaedra and Porsha. I don’t want to see a random– excuse me, Princess of the hoes on my screen anymore and I don’t want to see the devil in toad’s clothing either. The only reason I call Phaedra a toad is because she looks like one and felt froggy with Kenya. Ribbit.

All in all, it was a bad season. I was barely entertained and I couldn’t wait for it to be over.

#RHOBH: A Perspective of Season 5

Hey, guys! I’m so sorry that I haven’t been blogging for the last two months. My laptop had crashed and I finally got it fixed. Since, I couldn’t blog the last few episodes of the season, I’ll give you my perspective after I re-watched the entire season. First up, my perspective of the housewives.

Lisa Vanderpump- There’s no doubt that she’s the queen and she won this season. After being on the outs with the entire cast last season, they all came back crawling and begging her for forgiveness. There was one who had to work hard for her forgiveness, though, and that was Brandi. Lisa was smart enough to distance herself from the drama, strengthen certain friendships and realized that there was one who is not and will never be her friend. Lisa, my hat’s off to you. Here’s hoping you will return for next season.

Kyle Richards- I actually really liked Kyle this season. I’ve never liked her for a full season since season 1. Another thing I liked is the fact that Kyle and Lisa mended their friendship. They make way better friends than they do enemies. I just hope it lasts. After re-watching the show, I felt really bad for Kyle: being on the receiving end of Brandi’s attacks, I would imagine, does not feel good. Worst of all, her sister, Kim, sided with Brandi when she was insinuating things about Kim and Kyle’s history that Brandi was not present for. By the end of the season, their relationship was shattered. I hope it’s reparable. I don’t like when those two fight.

Lisa Rinna- Or as the Queen calls her, Rin Tin Tin. For the most part, I liked Lisa. I thought she was extremely funny, open, and eccentric. With that being said, I do feel that she studied the show, did her research and came on the show prepared. Which is fine. it makes for great TV and there’s no denying she is great TV. Unfortunately, when she does that, there will be times when her sincerity seems questionable. One thing I did not like about her, was her obsession with Kim Richards on Twitter. She was tweeting a lot of dark and negative stuff about Kim, which was unnecessary and uncalled for. She has since deleted the tweets, most of them anyway.

Eileen Davidson- Eileen was my second favorite this season. Some may find her boring. I find her to be perfection. Her sense of humor, her honesty and her beauty makes her a winner in my book. One of the things I love the most about Eileen is that she calls it like it is without being mean about it. She admits when she’s wrong, apologizes when necessary, and puts Brandi in her place in a way that leaves Brandi speechless. To read Brandi Glanville to the point that she is left speechless is pure talent. Bravo, Eileen. Come back next season, will ya?

Kim Richards- I’ll start off by saying that I do like Kim Richards… 70% of the time. She has a very sweet, bubbly and loving side to her, but she also has a dark, vindictive and vicious side to her as well. And this season we saw both, but most of her vicious side. I don’t know if she’s always had that side. We’ve known she has a mean side, but this side that we saw this season was dark. It was cruel. It was evil. It was… Brandi. Yup, I said it. Brandi definitely makes an impression on KIm. That’s all I’m going to say. It’s sad to re-watch the season after Kim’s arrest because now, even though we knew she wasn’t sober, she’s actually admitted it. The reunion in particular was disturbing to watch because all she did was defend her sobriety (or lack thereof).

Yolanda Foster- Yolanda, like Lisa, definitely took a back seat from the drama this season. Which worked out great for her, because I actually ended up liking her again. I hope to see more of this Yolanda. Unfortunately, after filming, she had a terrible relapse with her Lyme Disease and her future on the show is unknown. I think she should take some time off to regroup and come back when she feels better. This season, it was evident that Yolanda tried to keep the peace and was far less judgmental of her costars. Plus, we got to see her country and see more of her wonderful mom and brother. Yolanda, I wish you a speedy recovery and I hope you find a cure for Lyme Disease.

Brandi Glanville- Well, my mom always told me that if I had nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all. So on that note, I’m going to give my perspective on the season now.

After the disaster that was season 4, this season started off moderately slow with lighthearted drama. I actually enjoyed the peace while it lasted. It reminded me of season 1 and the reason we all started watching the show in the first place. Of course, all good things must come to an end.

Kim Richards vs Lisa Rinna

Eileen decided to host a poker tournament at her house. Kim, who had a hernia, took one of Monty’s pain pills (for cancer) and hitched a ride with Lisa Rinna to Eileen’s house. Kim was cuckoo for coco puffs which caused Rin Tin Tin to worry and proceeded to question her sobriety to everyone except Kim. Eventually, she confronted Kim with it, right after Brandi had told Kim what RIn Tin Tin was up to. This led to a huge fight in Amsterdam on their first night there. Kim threatened to reveal a secret about Harry Hamlin (I don’t care how old he is, that man is a sexy devil) which pissed Rin Tin Tin off to the point that she almost choked the hell out of Kim, threw wine on her and smashed the wine glass on the table.

Now, both Kim and Rin Tin Tin’s feelings were valid. However, they both went the wrong way about it. I understand that what Rin Tin TIn saw was crazy and that Kim was high as a kite. I get that she was worried but she should have taken her worries to Kim, one on one and let her know that she’s concerned for her. Kim also had a right to be angry with Rin Tin Tin for talking about her sobriety to everyone except her. However, she shouldn’t have brought Harry Hamlin into the mix and she shouldn’t have started the fight between her and Eileen.

Kyle Richards vs Kim Richards & Brandi Glanville

At the poker party, Kyle saw how whacky KIm was acting and was worried and embarrassed. Brandi was drunk as a skunk and thought she knew what was best for Kim in that situation. Yes, Brandi, because a drunk person knows what’s best for an addict who had just relapsed. Before Brandi and Kim left the poker party, Kim got pissed at Kyle and Kyle tried to get to Kim to find out what was happening but Brandi was blocking Kyle from Kim. Kyle pushed Brandi’s arm down and that prompted Brandi to twist Kyle’s hand and shove her away from her sister. It all went downhill from there. From that moment on, according to Brandi, Kyle is a “famewhore,” an awful person, an awful sister and a liar. Kim sided with Brandi after Kim felt Kyle tried to air her dirty laundry on national TV. After the show aired, Kim found out that Brandi was actually talking about Kim and her relapse, not just to Rin Tin Tin, but to her BFF, Jennifer as well. But Kim doesn’t care. Brandi is still a good friend while Kyle is a shitty sister in her eyes… I mean Brandi’s eyes. (This season, it was definitely revealed who the real Bobby Fischer was in this group. At least for me it was). Okay, maybe Kyle could have defended Kim more when Rin Tin Tin was talking about her, but Kim could have also defended Kyle when Brandi kept attacking her. They’ve both had a hand in the demise of their relationship and I have no doubt that Brandi, as usual, added fuel to that fire. In fact, she kind of dumped the entire can of kerosene on that fire. I really hope the sisters can come to a resolution now that (it’s been reported) Kim has decided to stay in rehab for 90 more days after Brooke’s wedding.

Ending with Positivity

This season has been a roller coaster ride. It was probably the most emotional season yet. What with the Richards sisters’ feud, Yolanda’s battle with Lyme Disease and Bella’s DUI, Max wanting to find out his heritage which caused concern for Lisa and Ken that Max may want to find his biological parents someday. However, if those are the worst of their situations, then it can only go up from there. Kim has admitted that she has a problem and needs more help. I don’t know about others but that gives me hope that one day the sisters can come together and come to a resolution. It seems that Bella has learned from her mistakes and is thriving as a model. Although Yolanda is still dealing with her relapse, I am praying and hoping she gets better soon.

It was funny to watch Rin Tin Tin this season (most of the time). I have hope that next season we will see more of Harry Hamlin. Preferably in the summer time… by a pool… shirtless. Eileen was an absolute pleasure to watch. She’s witty, honest, talented and drop dead gorgeous. As for Brandi, I wish her well but I want her off the show. If she wants to be a housewife then she can go on Orange County with Tamra.

Finally, the Queen of the Hills of Beverly.

Whether she’s making a (I have yet to taste) wicked Sangria, being happy in puppy heaven, or eating a space cake, Lisa Vanderpump is the reason we watch this show. She is what a real housewife is. She has a wicked sense of humor, a witty comeback for any shade being thrown at her, carries herself with elegance and sophistication, lives the luxurious lifestyle we tune in to see and when you throw her to the wolves, she will return leading the pack.

#RHOMelbourne S02E01 “Fresh Start, New Faces” Recap

Initially I wasn’t going to blog about The Real Housewives of Melbourne, but seeing as people love it and I secretly do too, I figured, what the hell? Why not? So before I recap this episode, here’s what I think about all the wives past and present.

Gina Liano- She’s fabulous and I love her potty mouth. She is a bit of a fibber but I still like her nonetheless. Oh yeah, she’s a lawyer. It’s only season 2 but I hope she’s not shady like Phaedra.

Lydia Schiavello- Initially I thought Lydia was dull and full of it. As the season progressed I knew Lydia was dull and full of it. She takes herself way too seriously, but that could be said for all of them, with the possible exception of Gina, Jackie and Chyka.

Janet Roach- Probably the most desperate out of all the women. She flip flops when it comes to her friends. She has no real loyalty to anyone. Basically it’s like the skeletor version of Brandi. It’s only the first episode of the second season and the bitch has already surpassed thirsty. She’s now dehydrated.

Jackie Gillies- Shine, shine, shine! Jackie is the psychic of the group and a lightning rod. It is my opinion that she’s one of the two– the other being Chyka– who keeps it real.

Chyka Keebough- Chyka is my absolute favorite. She tells it like it is, but in a soft, gentle and respectable way. She’s the Switzerland of the group and some of the others have  had issues with that in the past. Why? Because she’s not picking their sides. They need to grow up and be a woman like Chyka.

Andrea Moss- A few words come to mind when describing Andrea: boring, idiot, pretentious, elitist, cliché, petty, the list goes on and on. She basically lead the charge in the gang up of Gina in season 1 over stupid and petty things. I, for one, will not miss her.

We start with Lydia, Chyka and Jackie meeting for lunch. Loving Chyka’s style– especially her hair. Lydia wants us to know that people think she’s pretentious and this and that and basically confirming that I’m not the only one with these feelings. Chyka is incredibly proud that she and Bruce are still together after 25 years of marriage. They are a lovely couple. Jackie is still keeping it real and shine, shine, shining.

They’re talking about dieting and pounding. You know, girl talk. The waiter comes and Lydia says she likes wet pussies… the drink, people! Yeah, I’ve never heard of it either.

Janet is driving around and says she’s going to fight her own battles and allow others to do the same. Ha! Yeah, right. And I’m the tooth fairy. She’s inviting them to her birthday party. They ask if Gina is invited and she says she’d love to invite her. Janet then describes their relationship as being “frenemies.” Literally. Dear, God. We’re already five minutes in and this woman is annoying the shit out of me.

Janet goes to meet up with this younger guy who owns a restaurant to plan her birthday party. We’re supposed to believe that this man is interested in Janet romantically. She says she wasn’t going to have a birthday party this year but when she talked to Carlos she decided to have it after all. Translation: she only decided to have the party to get camera time.

He tells her that they won’t be able to use the original venue anymore. She’s pretending to freak out and I’m trying not to fall asleep. Enough of this woman, can we get to Gina please? He then proceeds to kiss her ass and it’s gross. So is her hair extensions. Why do these women have such bad hair? Brandi, Adrienne, Janet, etc. Do these women own a brush?

Back at lunch with Chyka, Jackie and Lydia. Chyka shares that she had found lumps on her breast and was worried about it but on the day of getting her test results, Jackie texted her and told her that everything will be fine, and it was. Lydia says that her stepson’s getting married soon and calls herself the mother of the groom.

You are step-mother of the groom. Know your lane and stay in it. Apparently they’re going to Florence for the wedding. Who’s her stepson? Kanye West? She discovers that her assistant bought conditioner instead of shampoo and she calls her to tell her to go buy some. Buy your own shampoo, girl. You’re going shopping anyway, right?

Janet stops by her hair stylist. He got himself some extensions and clearly that’s not his area of expertise. His hair actually makes Janet’s look red carpet ready. She leaves Gina a voicemail, inviting her to the party and she calls back and accepts. Janet is happy because she knows this will mean more camera time.

Finally we’re getting to Gina. She believes people get the wrong impression of her because of the image she presents. She says that what you see is what you get with her, you just have to look for a while. She meets up with her sister for lunch. Gina tells her sister that she’s planning to move to the US to be with her partner. She also says that her friendship with Lydia is fractured, saying that it’s like a glass; once it’s broken, you can put all the pieces back together but it will always have cracks.

Bloody hell, it’s a Janet-centric episode. No wonder I’m bored. She goes to buy cake. Done.

Lydia is getting ready for Janet’s party and we’re being introduced to her mom. Her mom is not fond of Gina and is quite snarky. I like it.

Chyka and Jackie are riding together. I like the both of them, a lot. Meanwhile, Gina and Lydia are riding together. It is awkward. Lydia apologizes to Gina and hopes they can move forward together in a positive direction. That’s nice.

We’re now at Janet’s party. Yippee, how fun. It’s time to meet the two new housewives. The first one is Gamble Breaux.

Gamble is single with a cute Pomeranian. She has a boyfriend of 5 years. I have mixed feelings about her. On the one hand she doesn’t like food, and food is like my number 1. But she also loves men, saying they are simply gorgeous and that they are her greatest weakness. Hey, me too. I like her personality for sure.

Next, we’re being introduced to Pettifleur Berenger, and she wants us to call her Pettifleur. I think before we’re even 1/4 way through this season I’ll be calling her Petty. She seems to have a real bitch complex because she cannot stop using the word when referring to herself and other women. She thinks it’s taking back the word as her own. No, you just sound ridiculous.

I feel like I dislike her 80% more than I like her. She’s beautiful though, I’ll give her that. At the party she’s already giving attitude. Well, okay then. Looks like this will be a very opinionated season.

The next day, at least we’re supposed to believe it’s the next day, Gamble takes Gina for lunch because she immediately liked her when she met her. She says something just clicked. Translation: she knows who the fan favorite is and is befriending her to get more camera time. She tells Gina about Janet bitching about her at her party. Now Gina is on high alert. Only the first episode and already stirring up trouble, Gamble? Hmm…

Lastly, Janet meets with Carlos and his pet pig to gossip about Gamble. Janet is gross and messy. Next week, she pisses Gamble off. That was quick. This should be good.

#RHOBH S05E16 “Amsterdamn” Recap

This week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was crazy! We had wine throwing, glass breaking, crying, and pot eating, all in the span of two days for them. Yikes! I kept watching the entire episode like this

So let’s break it down, shall we?

The ladies and Brandi check into the hotel and Pinky and Eileen arrive a little later. As soon as Rin Tin Tin sees them, she sits them down and gives them the tea about her argument with Kim– I mean Psycho. Rin Tin Tin warns Eileen that Kim will be coming for her and Eileen is like “bring it on, bitch.” I love this woman.

They take a nap and get ready for dinner. They all look sensational. Well, most of them anyway. At the dinner, Yolanda wants them to reveal their inner core to each other because she believes that most people in Beverly Hills only know the surface of each other. I think that’s marvelous, but not for this group. Yolanda opens up about Bella’s DUI while Rin Tin Tin opens up about losing her older sister of a drug overdose. She then takes the opportunity to apologize to Kim and Kim loses it. She starts to give Rin Tin Tin a verbal lashing and things get nasty when Eileen tries to defend her. She also attacks Kyle and tells her mean things; like Brandi supports her more than she does and Kathy is a better sister than she is. I didn’t see Kathy nor Brandi getting Kim on this show to have some financial stability. Nor have I heard of Kathy’s husband supporting Kim financially like a second wife like Mauricio has. Kim gets very vicious with Eileen and calls her a beast. Eileen is all

And for a moment I thought I was watching a soap opera. Yolanda tries to intervene to diffuse the situation but Kim threatens to expose a rumor about Harry. That’s when Rin Tin Tin lost her shit. First she lunges at Kim.

Then makes her know that you never go after her husband.

But Kim keeps persisting and that’s when

Rin Tin Tin throws a glass of wine at Kim and smashes the glass.

This is arguably the most intense fight in the history of the show. So intense that it made Kyle run for the windmills.

I have to say, when I watched the episode I kept rewinding the fight because it’s like a train wreck that you just can’t look away from. I feel the same way about Kim. Here’s the thing, Kim’s points and feelings are valid. She does have a right to be upset because I don’t necessarily agree with Rin Tin Tin going to everybody with her concerns but Kim, but I do not believe that she had bad intentions. I believe she had/has genuine concern, she just went about it the wrong way.

Now, all Rin Tin Tin was doing was apologizing for butting into Kim’s business. Any normal person would have either accepted  or not accept the apology and move on. As Pinky stated,

Yolanda takes Rin Tin Tin outside and tries to calm her down. Meanwhile, Kim is with Brandi, venting and being completely ridiculous. Kim fails to realize that by acting the way she does, she’s just proving Rin Tin Tin and Eileen’s point. That is addictive behavior. I’m no expert, but I’ve read about it a little and I’ve had some friends who’s dealt with addiction in their family.

They all head back to the hotel and Kyle continues to cry and Pinky, Rin Tin Tin and Eileen sympathize with her. It’s a clusterfuck, and it’s only the first day.

The next day Rin Tin Tin is in her room, in survival mode, as she says, and who comes knocking on her door? Kim. Oh fuck. She’s being polite and tells Rin Tin Tin her side of the story. In no way was there an apology for her actions and the things that she said, but Rin Tin Tin apologizes, AGAIN.

They all meet up in the lobby and Yolanda takes them to the area where she grew up. It’s nice to see this side of Yolanda. You can tell she’s very proud of where she comes from and happy to be sharing her culture with the others. They go bike riding. It’s hilarious. Those bikes are huge!

They ride all the way to the windmills where Yolanda meets an old flame. His name is Peter Paul. What is he? An apostle? Yolanda doesn’t remember him. Not even the fact that they kissed. She blames it on her Lyme Brain. At least Yolanda got a glimpse of what her life would’ve been like if she married the guy. Too funny.

Next, they go visit Yolanda’s mom who survived breast cancer but is now battling uterus cancer. She’s a very lovely woman with a fabulous sense of humor. Pretty much Yolanda’s mom and brother have done pot except her. Well, that needs to change. When in Amsterdam….

Next, it’s time to go to the coffee shop. Brandi doesn’t want to do any pot because she claims she has to “be on top of her game when dealing with these women.” To me, that just means she’s looking for trouble and wants to be sober when she does it. Kyle decides she won’t do it because she doesn’t want her kids seeing her do pot on national television.

That’s fine. Brandi, of course, has to point out that Kyle has already smoked pot with her before. Kyle still doesn’t eat the space cake and Brandi is pissed off, calling her a hypocrite. As they leave, Brandi blows up on Kyle over nothing and I wish somebody would smack this bitch.

And there it is folks. A crazy ass episode with a two crazy ass bitches. By the way, I thought you’d all like to know that I’m doing a ranking of all the RHOBH fights in the last 5 years. Stay tuned…

#RHOBH Happy Lisa Vanderpump Day!

Lisa Vanderpump is many things, mother, wife, restaurateur, philanthropist, animal lover, TV personality, the list goes on and on. On March 1st, 2011, the Mayor of Beverly Hills, Jimmy Delshad, presented Lisa Vanderpump with the key to the city. He also declared it Lisa Vanderpump Day in Beverly Hills.

So since it’s that time of year again, I thought it would be fun to celebrate all the qualities we love about Lisa Vanderpump. So here’s to the woman we’ve come to know and love!

Not to mention that as a housewife, she’s made a lot of history. One of them being the first housewife to be asked to participate on Dancing with the Stars after they placed a ban on all the housewives.

She’s an incredibly loyal friend, to the point where she’s almost compromising her beliefs and integrity.

She’s smart enough to know that once someone shows you their true self, believe them.

As your friend, she’ll never judge you.

Was fierce in Lady Gaga’s music video for G.U.Y.

Has the best sense of humor of all the housewives.

Takes no nonsense from anyone.

She always gets the good tea.

When Brandi rallied all the women together to gang up on Lisa to dethrone her, she came back stronger than before.

And gave us the gift that keeps on giving: Vanderpump Rules.

Whether she’s being a great mother to her children and puppies, or getting attacked by the entire cast, Lisa Vanderpump was, still is and always will be, the best. We love you, Lisa. Don’t you ever forget that.

#RHOBH S05E15 “Welcome to Amsterdam” Recap

I can’t believe we’re already at episode 15! This season just flew by! It’s weird because I remembered I couldn’t wait for last season to be over and now I wish this season never end. But, alas, all good things must come to an end. So let’s get into it.

It’s time for the scavenger hunt! It looks like a lot of fun. And who makes a special appearance? Camille! I wish they would bring Camille back. She may have been a dud but at least she lives the Beverly Hills lifestyle that we tune in for.

The girls are divided into three dream teams. Kyle is captain of Dream Team 1, Eileen is captain of Dream Team 2 and Yolanda, of course, is captain of Dream Team 3. As fate (producers) would have it, Brandi ends up on Kyle’s team.

At least she has Camille on her team to offset the crazy drunk. Eileen’s team consists of her, Kim and her friend Lynn. Yolanda’s team is of her and the two Lisas. A dream team indeed. They set off to start the scavenger hunt and Eileen’s team takes an early lead.

I feel like I’m commentating on the Olympics right now. Ha ha. Does anyone have a microphone? All Kim is doing is bitching and killing the vibe of Eileen’s team.

Why is Kim being so pissy? It’s probably because she’s mad at Eileen for trying to help repair the damage that was done to Kim’s relationship with Kyle. You know, because only Kim sees that as a bad thing. Why? Because she doesn’t think it’s appropriate for Eileen to butt into other people’s business like that. But I guess it was totally appropriate for Kim to ambush Taylor with an “intervention” to tell her that she had a drinking problem, right?

Yolanda’s team looked as if they had the most fun though…and penalties. Pinky hopped on a bike for a hot pink second and the three of them hijacked a Beverly Hills tour bus. Rin Tin Tin’s response to anyone who might have a problem with that?

I probably would have done the same. No, I know I would have done the same. Looking back now, I think of how lucky those tourists are. There they are, enjoying a leisurely ride on Rodeo Drive when Yolanda, Pinky and Rin Tin Tin hijacks their bus. Lucky sons of bitches.

The final destination in the hunt is Villa Blanca where they all meet up and have lunch. Yolanda has one last surprise for them though: a trip to Amsterdam! Woohoo!

I’m skipping the housewives getting ready for the trip. I don’t have much time and I’d rather comment on the fun and more important parts of the show.

It’s time to go on the trip but before they go to Amsterdam, the ‘wives, sans Pinky and Eileen, are going to Calgary first to attend David’s charity event. Before the trip, though, Brandi told Kim about Rin Tin Tin’s talk with her after they did her podcast. Remember? The one where Rin Tin Tin tried to get to the bottom of Brandi’s behavior and Brandi deflected by throwing Kim under the bus? Yeah, so not only did she tell Kim that Lisa R. was worried about her sobriety, she completely failed to mention her part in the conversation. That’s Brandi for you. Always deflecting and trying to act like her hands are clean. But in the words of Kenya Moore: “Your hands are not clean, they’re full of grease.”

So on the plane, Kim is giving Rin Tin Tin the cold shoulder and the silent treatment. Rin Tin Tin asks her what her problem is and Kim blows up on  her. She yells at her and berates her like a child, even after Rin Tin Tin apologizes more than once. It was uncomfortable to watch. Kyle looked the way I felt watching this. I can only imagine how she felt, being right between them. Yikes.

I will say, Kim’s feelings are valid, but as usual, she picks the worst times to have an argument. Awkward to say the least.

The ladies are in Calgary. Yolanda, Kyle and Rin Tin Tin are in the first limo and are running late so they won’t be waiting for Thing 1 and Thing 2. Yolanda hopes that the argument on the plane does not set the tone for the trip. LOL, oh, Yolanda, you have no idea. Rin Tin Tin says that she got Kim’s message loud and clear. She also said that this issue hits close to home for her because both of Harry’s brothers died from alcoholism and Harry has been sober for 3 years himself.

They arrive to the event. Brandi is wearing the dress she wore during a promo shoot for RHOBH when she joined in season 2. The only difference is, now she looks older, cattier and more tipsy. Oh, and those bangs were hideous.

The event was a total success. Rin Tin Tin’s got some moves, Kyle kissed the king of lips, Steve Tyler and most importantly, David managed to raise $8.2 million. Wow. That is amazeballs!

The housewives are now officially in Amsterdam, but the episode’s almost over. Sad face. Kim blows up on Kyle over nothing. They should’ve named this episode “Kim’s bitch fits.” It seems more appropriate. Now Kyle’s upset and uncomfortable and jet lagged. Thanks a lot, Kim.
